Role: Front-end Developer

My main work at 1STi was the PEP Mais Médicos application for Hospital Sírio-Libanês, built in React Native, with Axios for requests and styled-components for the interface.

Beyond building it, I led the project: I coordinated the team, set goals and deadlines, and answered for delivery against the schedule. It was the first time I had to balance writing code with unblocking other people’s code, and I learned that the second half usually returns more.

I reviewed code with an eye on design and architecture, not only on syntax. A review that only catches a stray comma will not hold quality on a project that keeps growing.

I also rebuilt the Universidade Cruzeiro do Sul portal, pairing React with WordPress as the CMS. The content team kept publishing the way they already knew, and the interface stopped being limited to whatever the WordPress theme allowed.
