Danki Code's Node.js course is a complete training that taught me how to build modern web applications on the Node.js platform. During the course I learned both the basics and advanced techniques of web application development. I learned to use the Express framework to create routes and controllers, and to work with non-relational databases such as MongoDB to store and manipulate data. I also learned to use Mongoose to simplify working with the database. The course taught me to build RESTful APIs, which are essential to modern web applications, and to write automated tests to keep code quality high. I learned to use testing tools such as Mocha and Chai. By the end I felt able to build complete web applications, front end to back end, with modern technologies and agile practices. I believe the course was very useful and gave me a good foundation for becoming a proficient Node.js developer.
