An official website for artists, edited by the artist

The problem

A working artist lives off live shows. The money comes in when a promoter, a city hall or a venue decides to book them, and that decision almost always starts with a Google search.

What that search finds, most of the time, is an Instagram profile: good for fans, bad for whoever books. Tour dates are scattered across posts, booking enquiries get mixed up with fan messages, and there is no single place that says, in an organised way, who the artist is, what they have done and how to bring them to an event.

The constraints

The decisions

The artist edits everything from a panel

Shows, music, photos, testimonials, partners and contacts are edited in a content panel, without touching code. Adding a show to the schedule means filling in a form. The page sections are blocks the team can rearrange.

discarded alternative

Updates made by us whenever the artist asks. Discarded: it creates dependency and delay, and a tour schedule does not wait.

Every page arrives ready for Google and for AI

Every page is generated ahead of time, with the real content already written into it, instead of being assembled in the visitor's browser. That matters for Google and above all for AI tools, which tend to read only what arrives ready. The show schedule is described in a way search engines understand as events.

discarded alternative

A site that assembles its content in the browser. Discarded: it is simpler to build and many search engines see an empty page.

One base, each artist's identity on top

The base has its own set of visual components, and each artist's colours, typefaces and shapes come in as a layer that can be swapped. The whole site works with sample content before any account is created, which lets the artist approve the look before anyone is asked for access to anything.

discarded alternative

An off-the-shelf theme for each artist. Discarded: they all end up looking alike, and identity is exactly what the artist is selling.

The result

The product grew out of a site delivered for a sertanejo duo, and that delivery is what proves the base: tour dates, music, gallery, a booking page kept apart from fan contact, and the Instagram feed ready to come into the site.

Now the same base becomes an offer for other artists and bands, swapping the visual identity and the content. It is the same logic as the other products: a tested base, delivered again with each client's face.
